About REPAT

Vision

Our vision for the Reentry Providers Association of Texas (REPAT) is to provide a collaborative space where all reentry needs of those impacted by the criminal justice system are met, recidivism is decreased, and families are enabled to live healthy, productive lives.

Mission

We advocate for organizations that support returning citizens and advance fair and responsible laws. This includes furthering equitable policies, budgets and practices empowering reentry providers to build capacity and sustain their missions.

Goals

● Strengthen the State network of resources and service providers.
● Identify and address gaps and barriers to successful re-entry in the State.
● Participate in the legislative process.
● Expand the education of the public, law enforcement, and policymakers about the
importance of supporting prisoner reentry efforts.
● Promote collaboration among state, local, private and community-based groups in support of successful re-entry.
● Provide a forum for the sharing of best practices, including reviewing and promoting
successful evidence-based reentry programs and initiatives and supporting and promoting
new programs.
